Keren Epstein-Gilboa PhD (Psych), MEd, BSN, RP, RN, FACCE, LCCE, IBCLC, RLC
Dr. Keren Epstein-Gilboa has been involved in clinical work and teaching for four decades. Her roots are in Nursing, with a Master’s degree in counselling and applied psychology, post graduate studies in family and couple therapy. Her PhD is in Developmental Psychology. Dr. Epstein-Gilboa is a Registered Nurse and a Registered Psychotherapist. She is also a Lamaze certified childbirth educator and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. She has been an IBCLC almost since the inception of the profession. Her research and publications pertain to the psychology and physiology of pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding, pregnancy loss, infant mental health, child and parental development. Lately she has participated in studies pertaining to clinical ethics as well as research on the psychological aspects of and mechanisms influencing our behavior during the 2020-2022 crisis. Dr. Epstein-Gilboa has been teaching children and adults for most of her career. Her academic teaching includes seminars for professionals and work as a lecturer and instructor in Canadian universities.
