Beverley Myatt, MEd
Beverley Myatt has her B.A. (Hons) in Psychology from McMaster University in Hamilton, Canada and her M.Ed. in Educational Psychology & Counselling from McGill University in Montreal, Canada. She recently retired from Durham College in Oshawa, Canada where she was a full-time professor teaching psychology courses, with an emphasis on happiness/wellbeing/self-awareness. Prior to this, Beverley conducted psychological assessments and performed individual and group counselling with students ranging from elementary school to post-secondary school. Her focus was on students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Learning Disability and Mental Health Disorders. She also designed and implemented workshops for students and faculty, supervised Masters placement students, ran peer support groups, and designed a learning strategies course to better prepare students for the post-secondary experience. Beverley is dedicated to enhancing student wellbeing, advancing the post-secondary learning experience and promoting individual and social transformation.
